Hey, I'm Mikayla.

I’m originally from Northern California—yes, the better part of Cali ;)—and took a bit of a detour to South Dakota in 2018 for college. You might be wondering why, but life has its surprises, and I’m grateful for mine. I met my amazing husband in Aberdeen, and moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We have recently grown our family by two little feet and have the cutest baby ever (definitely not ;) biased!) We are also travel nurses and go to Northern California frequently. But who would have thought love would anchor me in the Midwest?

Everything in my life has truly been orchestrated by God and I could not be more blessed. Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and in the past couple years, I’ve transitioned it from a hobby into a career.
